of gallery was founded on the belief that art should unsettle, provoke, and endure. We represent painters, sculptors, and mixed-media artists whose work refuses the comfortable and the familiar.
Our mission
We exist to give serious work serious space. Every exhibition is conceived as a singular encounter — between artist and viewer, between object and room, between now and what persists.
The 'of' Gallery
of gallery opened in New York in 2019, occupying a raw industrial floor in Chelsea. The name — lowercase, deliberately incomplete — reflects our conviction that meaning is made in the gap between words.
We work with a small roster of artists in long-term relationships, building bodies of work rather than chasing market moments. Our program moves between painting, sculpture, and expanded practices that resist medium-specific labels.
